Alta became a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church on May 7, 1922 when she was baptized and confirmed. She was an active member of the Ladies Aid for many years, and was a member in good standing of the St. Paul Lutheran, attending workship faithfully.
Upon the death of her second husband, Alta, in 1973, became a resident of the St. Lukes Nursing Home. She was a life-time resident of Blue Earth, was called from this vale of tears this past Sunday at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 11 days.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husbands, and infant daughter Donna, two grandchildren, three brothers, and three sisters.
She is survived by her children, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and by other relatives and friends. |
