| The north 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 28 (containing 80 acres) is now divided into the S 1/2 of the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 (or 40 acres) which is our (Cora and Lucy Warner) pasture and timber land. John A. Warner told how the boys could toss clods of dirt into a flock of sand hill cranes when they were on the ground and they would just jump around some and settle back down again... they were that tame. Never heard of any deer in the Blue Earth area. The men used to go down to Forest City, Iowa to hunt deer. | ||||||||||
