PRAISE AND PARALYSIS
SPIRITUAL GIFT 
My only source of hope is in God through
Jesus Christ,His son. I became a Christian long before becoming disabled.
It saved my life in every way. First, I was saved from my
so less than perfect humaness and made righteous in God's eyes.
Second, my life was given a new direction--totally away from Self.
Now, I find joy Only when I'm doing something to help other people.
I can't imagine what it's like to be disabled and not have a relationship
with Jesus Christ! When you can't rely on yourself anymore where
can you turn for real loving help and total understanding? Where is your
hope? No PERSON can fill the new void a broken
body creates. No PERSON can give you a total peace and acceptance
of your disability. Not even drugs nor alcohol can come close.
Jesus is the only way there has ever been to absolute peace and
happiness and He still is. If I didn't know God would
help me through every day because He's my Father,I simply couldn't make
it. Being disabled is too complicated for me to handle alone.
You know you can't totally rely on doctors and who wants to go to
medical school in a wheelchair to learn about fixing the body? Why
not rely on the manufacturer!
Now, I can look at my life through God's eyes
and know He is preparing me to spend eternity in a new body that will be
perfect. I don't think spending this life disabled
is a bad deal when I know my Eternity will be in a perfect
body.
Anyone can have this same peace of mind if they
are willing to not trust in themself,but instead believe in Jesus
and become a child of God. Becoming a Christian is as simple as 1,2,3.
1. Admitting
you have sinned.
2 Decide to stop sinning
3. . Ask God to forgive you by asking Jesus
to come into your heart and live His life in you.
The end result will be the biggest change you have
ever experienced. There will be more love in you and in your life
than you can imagine. You will automatically want to be a good person
because you will have the Spirit of God living in you for the rest of your
life to help you. Being a Christian is not simply a religious conversion.
It's a whole new way of seeing and living your life. The way God
created it to be before The garden of Eden!
If you are disabled,you know exactly how
hard life can be. My life has been much easier and carefree since
putting my trust in God! I believe that God can do anything He wants
to and that He promises to help those who ask and believe him. Think
about it. All He asks is that we believe in His son,.Jesus.
By doing that we become a true child of God. God is a loving father
and wants to give good things to his children. Even if I didn't have
faith, I would choose to believe just out of common sense. What can
you lose?
I ask you to think seriously about your relationship
to Jesus Do you even have one? He has one with you and He's
waiting for your response,you have absolutely nothing to lose.
If you are disabled and want to find new
meaning for your life and a new reason that can't fall apart on you
like your body did, this is it!
