Mesabi Hiking and Biking Trail to O'Brien Reservoir and The City of Keewatin A perfect way to take in the grandeur of the Nashwauk area...and get fit, too! A paved walk/bikeway with breathtaking views and vistas! Future development of the trail will someday extend from Grand Rapids to Ely.
	Good Hunting and Fishing Did we say "good?" We meant Great hunting and fishing! There are literally thousands of lakes in the Nashwauk area, each one stocked with great fishing action and excitement for your whole family. You could catch a "wall-hanger" or even a state record!
And the Nashwauk area is a hunter's paradise, offering excellent conditions whether your quarry is deer, black bear, ruffed grouse, ducks or geese. If you do your hunting with a camera, you'll find untold opportunities here.
Guide Services If the fishing and hunting are so good, then why would you need a guide? You don't! But many visitors have found they can make the most of their time spent with us by using guides, and often develop long-term friendships with the area guides.

Hawkins Pit Observation Stand People who never saw the mines in their glory during full operation are amazed when they look out over the Hawkins Mine. As the sign says, the Hawkins Mine was the first mine in Itasca County, shipping out 25-million tons of iron ore between 1902 and 1962. Bring your camera for shots like these.

Snowmobile Trail around Town Snowmobilers visiting the Iron Range will be thrilled with more than 2,000 miles of groomed snowmobibles trails connecting Evelth to International Falls or Grand Rapids to Ely. Take the Nashwauk Connection and cruise the local trails, or pick up the Taconite Trail for a marathon of fun in the snow!
