Scenario Games

For the year 2008 our plans are to have games that cost less to play and take much more skill.

We will be holding 3 events this summer that are strictly tactical games based on a 6 to 10 man squad. Each event will have a maximum of 20 squads allowed to enter. The games will stress maneuvering, concealment, and limited fire power. In the first part of October we will be holding a big game that will be capped at 450 people. This game will utilize the squads that have participated in the previous games with multiple missions thru out the day while the rest play a regular big game to try and take the opponents base and control special objective bases. Points will be earned during the day for completion of missions and objectives to be used towards the end of the games for special effects.

These games are for those people who are tired of going thru cases of paint every time they go out on a weekend. The games are designed to simulate real combat situations that do not require massive firepower to complete. Thus we will be limiting paint from 150 rounds to 250 rounds depending on the time length of the particular scenario being played. 50 round Tac Caps for A-5’s and 50 round hoppers for all other guns will be required. The only exceptions will be the clip fed guns, altho they will still be limited to total number of rounds that may be carried. We will be allowing any mode of fire on any gun you wish to use, altho we wish to discourage the use of the sissy colored ones used in speedball. We are not about flash and style. We do encourage team uniforms, patches etc. because it looks cool but we do not require them. Come dressed to play in the woods.

Honor is a word that has been forgotten. Leaving the field when marked even with the smallest of marks allowed (usually quarter size) is unheard of and playing on after being hit hoping to take someone else out with them is the norm. There is a written rule within all venues of paintball including PSP and NPPL that states when hit, the player is responsible to check himself for paint, not keep playing till the Ref pulls them. This is the reason that paintball in the arena format will never be recognized as a legitimate sport.

This being said, if you would like to play in our games come with the attitude of fair and honest play. When you get hit and marked you leave the field. When you get hit in the back and you can not tell whether it broke or not you leave the field. The idea being if your opponent was able to out maneuver you to a point that he could shoot you from behind (or you are retreating and he shoots you as you are running away) then he is the better player and you should learn your lesson and leave the field. This type of play will make you a better player or will tell you to find a different sport.

When you get hit you go out and dead men don’t talk. If one of your squad gets caught cheating he will be removed from the game for the rest of the day. If a second person on your squad gets caught your entire squad will be removed for the rest of the day. Everyone on your squad will be eligible to play in future games. A second violation by anyone will be cause for their permanent removal from any of our games. Cheating will not be tolerated. If you have to cheat to win go play one of the other big games.

We are not holding these games to make the big bucks or try to set a record for attendance. We simply want to play to have fun, test our abilities, improve ourselves as players.
